After 11 weeks and a little over 10,000 miles, I'm finally home, where there are deciduous trees and humidity. How lovely to know when I am sweating! Really. And the weather is nice here, nicer than that 122 degrees in Death Valley and the regular 99s to 104s everywhere else. But you don't want to be reading the weather. You want to see some of the last images from the journey. I hope.
This is a baby five-lined skink. Babies have blue tails; as they get older, the tail color fades and the lines go from head to the end of the tail. Really cute.
